Zillow's in-house tool is genuinely free, works on most phones, and produces respectable 360° tours. The catch: tours only render on Zillow. You can't embed them on your personal site, on Realtor.com, or anywhere else. If your entire marketing strategy is Zillow-first and you don't care about tour portability, this works.

Major limitation: It's a 360° photo tour, not a true 3D model. The difference matters more than you'd think — buyers can click between bubbles but can't navigate freely or get meaningful floor plan data.

3. Cupix Free — Best for a one-off tour

Cupix has a free tier that lets you publish a small number of tours per month. Output quality is good, the editor is clean, and the floor plan generation is solid. The free tier caps at three active tours, which makes it useful for testing or for hobbyist use, but impractical for working agents.

4. Insta360 mobile app — Best if you already own the camera

Insta360's mobile app accepts footage from their 360° cameras (X3, X4) and produces respectable virtual tours for free if you've already invested in their hardware. Not really a free tool — the camera runs $400 to $600 — but if you already own one, the software is free and serviceable.

5. Asteroom — Limited but functional free tier

Asteroom offers a tier-limited free version that requires a small physical attachment for the phone (sold separately, around $30). The output is reasonable for the price but processing takes longer than Walktru.io and the tour editor is less polished.
